I joined Surrey in 2025. I was previously Fellow and Tutor in Public Law at Worcester College, Oxford, and a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights.

In 2026, my piece ‘Public Functions of Political Parties in the United Kingdom’ was jointly awarded the Wedderburn Prize by the editorial committee of the Modern Law Review.

My latest publication, ‘The Constitutional Principle of Democracy in the United Kingdom’ is forthcoming in the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies.
